Pidgin English - Longfellow translated

It was popular to translate famous pieces of poetry into pidgin. Here is Longfellow's Excelsior:

One young man walkee, no can stop
Maskee de snow, maskee de ice!
He carry flag with chop so nice
Topside galow!

The original for those of us who lack the classical education:

A youth who bore through
Snow and ice
A banner with a strange device
"Excelsior".
