Missionary (WCA) - Andrew much improved

January 1, 1879

-- Rev. V. C. Hart writes from Kiukiang, Nov. 9th: "I forward by this opportunity our Annual Report. I have nothing great to send, but what we have is as near the real state of things as we can come to on the whole. Although Rev. A. Stritmatter has not been able to do much active work during the year, we find much for which to be grateful, and are much encouraged to increased efforts. Our members have grown in grace and are developing up better than we could have hoped. At our annual meeting a committee was appointed to examine young missionaries in their studies. We are all well. Brother Stritmatter is now much improved. Our annual meeting shows that we have had a slight increase, and that we are in a healthier condition as a mission than ever before. Our movement is forward, and no turning. God will crown all our labors with success."
